Founded in 2020, Nectares creates healthy food products based on superfoods, including the Sacha Inchi nut, that aims to improve the physical and mental well-being of its consumers. Nectares grows its products in Colombia through a community of passionate farmers, with concern for their quality of life and their environment. South America, the world’s largest producer of superfoods, is known for its mineral-rich soils that maximize the nutrients in food. Thanks to its healthy, organic and fair-trade food products, Nectares has made its mark in a market focused on the benefits of a complete and balanced diet.

THE SACHA INCHI NUT
A heritage passed down by the ancient indigenous peoples of the Amazon region, the Sacha Inchi nut, commonly known as the Inca nut, is a seed that contains many nutritional benefits that make it the perfect superfood for anyone wishing to increase their level of concentration or energy.
The Sacha Inchi nut is known to strengthen the immune system and improve brain function, in addition to regulating cholesterol and reducing blood pressure. A superfood that can be eaten without moderation!

Javier Rivera is an athlete, physical education teacher and personal trainer with over 15 years of experience in the field of health and wellness. Canadian of Colombian origin, Javier immigrated to Quebec x years ago with the desire to transmit and share the benefits of his culture with Quebecers. For Javier, settling in Quebec with his family represents reinvention and opportunity. Founding Nectares has allowed him to realize his dream of improving consumers’ health and wellbeing while continuing to be involved in his home community.
