Although most of superfoods come from these regions and are consumed all over the world, throughout history, producer communities in Central and South America have never been rewarded for the effort invested in cultivating and producing their fruits. The lack of education and social as well as political conditions stress these problems. If we add the fact that the non-essential intermediaries that intervene in commercial transactions in every region receive operational utilities, it is easy to understand why producers lack motivation.
Nectares personally verifies the procedures implemented, identifying and deleting from the value chain the non-essential intermediaries and fictitious cooperatives that generate inequity and injustice when trading these products.
